ok i have some extra psp motherboard that works 100% (i tested it with a screen that was half broken) but no case or anything to put it in, and even if i did, i dont want to.

Say i wanted to play it with a ps2 controller, or play it through the TV rather than the screen intended... is there any way i could do this? Its a phat psp.

There's a thing called PSPTV...

As for the controller, I saw a PS2 controller mod but it looked pretty complicated to do.

well i have a regular psp. but the one i'm talking about is just all of the innards of a psp, no case or shell. it works fine but i'm asking if i could use psp2tv without having the casing for the psp

Yes. Actually, I see what your going to do.

Turn a PSP into a PSX like console... Smart!

Buy an extra PSP charger, cut the wire and weld the wires to the charger ports.

i could. or i could just keep it plugged in lol idk it depends. this psp is a MESS and i'm shocked I actually got it to function... which reminds me that i need to reattach the home/start/select buttons... lol i hope i can make this work. Also the screen when plugged in is a little off color and pale, i hope its just the screen i messed up, not the ribbon cable port

That would be due to the ribbons being messed up...

i couldnt care less about the screens ribbons so thats good

The ribbons wouldn't effect the video-out.
And, yes, PSPTV doesn't need a screen or inards and I think it has a built in charger into it?
