Slim 3.95 to 3.71 M33-4?

Can anyone help my PSP 2000 get from 3.95 firmware to 3.71 M33-4? Let me know if there's a better firmware out there that lets me play PSX games.

You are going to need to use the pandora battery method... are you at all familiar with this?

You are going to need a pandora battery and a magic memory stick.

Every single question you may have about pandora has been already asked and answered. My suggestion is search and read. There are tutorials on our own site, as well as a plethora of tutorials and faqs out on the internet. Search, and read my friend.

Just want to add, if you don't have the skill to make the battery you can find it online for under $10 (mine was $(.66 w/o S&H)).

As for FW, I roll on v5.0 m33-3 (but i have a fat psp).

How do I know if my battery's not new or not? And don't I need two batteries to make a magic memory stick?

I'll probably return this one and get a new god of war psp instead.

I'll be nice and simplify this a bit for you...

Battery:

Can be bought, or made. If you have access to a PSP already running custom firmware, then you can modify the battery to be used. If you don't not have access to another PSP on custom firmware, then providing it is a modifiable battery you can cut a particular section of the battery to make it into a Pandora battery. Since you seem like a beginner, I do not recommend this method as you will more than likely fry your battery as many, many people have already done.

This leaves you with the option of buying one, which is what I would recommend.

Memory Stick:

There are many tutorials on how to make it without a PSP. Search.

There wont be a benefit of returning it for a GOW PSP in the interest of CFW, unless you would just rather have that one.

Making a Pandora battery is easy. There are countless tutorials on how to make it though.

Just got a refund today. 150. I'll probably be getting the God of War bundle on Christmas. (:

Yeah, it probably is easy. I watched a vid on how to make a pandora battery and magic memory stick, but I checked my battery's version yesterday and it was 110.
