Ok so i was trying to add some custom theme that looked super sick onto my psp. some guy instructed me to replace files on the flash0, not realising it's importance, and deleted 2 of the folders and just put in 2 other folders with the same name that i downloaded that was susposed to be with the custom theme or something.
so guess what? now my PSP is bricked. I turn it on, black screen, turns off. i can't even access the recovery menu, at least i haven't yet.
at hand, there are 2 PSP's here. one bricked, one modified with it's CFW as 3.80 M33-5. There are 3 memory sticks here and 2 batteries. I'd like to make a pandoras and try to somehow get my bricked psp to work. can someone please help walk me thru it instead of sending me a tutorial or something? i've tried to follow 2 tutorials already....and i tried dark alex's dc8 thing and guess what? my psp is still bricked.
please help. and thanks.

I don't think you'll get much of a response... countless people have successfully made pandora setups using just the online tutorials. You already have a PSP with custom firmware, I really don't see what your problem is.

i deleted 2 folders* in my flash0 thingy and now my psp is bricked. sorry
appaerently it is probable for me to get my psp unbricked with a pandora's
but for 1, i don't really know how to make a pandora's (i've tried to make it without actually having a pandora as my end result)
and 2 i don't know what to do once i do get the pandora's so i came here to get information on how to get my psp fixed.
or w.e.
what's DPMS?

DPMS as in DPM's as in one of our Admins DarkPackMan. He has a tutorial in our tutorial's section.
Since you've got a working PSP with custom firmware on it, you can use any tool to make a pandora battery and magic memory stick. If one battery didn't work, try the other. You can try the various DC releases, or there is also ultimate pandora releases as well. All of these have utilities to make a pandora...
As a side note, don't mess with flash unless you know what you're doing... if you are replacing files, always overwrite, never delete. And always keep backups. Honestly, you shouldn't have been messing with flash unless you had a way to fix it (i.e. already having a pandora setup on-hand).

some UMPS thing.
what would i do once i get a magic memory stick thing and a pandora's battery to unbrick my psp?
so i put in the pandora and memory stick then hold L then turn it on, right? then what?
----------
um... problem. when i stick the pandora in, the PSP turns on but i get nothing else but a black screen....by the way i'm holding down L and the other time i tried i hit L too late so i pulled out the battery and stuck it back in or w.e

Is the memory card ALREADY inserted when you put in the batt? and some installers assign a button (up, down, left, or right) for different pandora methods. try holding down one of those buttons as you boot.
If the light's on, your batt is working. Just need to get your magic memory stick working.

Just reflash the thing... don't worry about recovering.
