4gb hosed

my 4gb card frome san disc recently could be used. the psp told me to format, and so i did. the psp then told me there was no memory stick. i go into usb mode, and my computor cant format it. neither my slim or my fat will use it. the slim is 4.01m233-2 and the fat is 5.00m33-4. dont tell me to google it ause i did. nothing useful. please help.

Where did you get the memory card from? I've been out of the PSP scene for awhile, but I remember that sometimes if you buy your memory card from a "foggy" source, such as online, they could be fakes. They only work for a short while, and then they give out, just like in the situation here.

You likely have a bad memory stick. I would try to return or exchange it somehow.
Before you do, try your 32meg card and see if that works. If it does then it is definitely the Sandisk.

i never got a 32 mb- but i have another high speed 4gb and two one gigs, and they all work- i got my card from a friend on my dads destroyer.
