Problem downgrading

When I put the pandora battery in the green goes on for a while then turns off, is the battery dead or did i mess up

You're lacking some details. Are you sure your PSP is moddable? Are you using a Magic Memory Stick in conjunction with the Pandora? If so, are you pressing the trigger key? Most of the time it's either digital up or the R trigger.

I am using a hard modded phat battery green light turns on when in for a few seconds. So not sure if i messed up modding or not.I can't find the files for a magic memory stick.I am trying to downgrade a slim 2000 darth vader psp with firmware 4.05.

You need a Magic Memory Stick in order to use the Pandora successfully. Look up zzk2001 on youtube, in one of his videos there is a package for making a MMS.
