I never had a problem connecting my PSP to my PC until today. I keep getting "Please Wait..."
on my xmb menu screen for minutes and it still won't connect, I tried everything I possibly could
starting from:

1. Rebooting my PC
2. Rebooting my PSP
3. Reformatting my memory stick
4. Trying it on different ports
5. Trying it on my xbox 360(Although, it took a few minutes to into USB mode, the 360 still didn't recognize it.)
6. Taking my Battery out for 15 minutes
7. Toggling the USB in Recovery mode

I guess the only solution is to buy a new USB connector, *sighs*. Unless anyone knows any
other way?

I'm running on 3.80m33 psp-1001 FAT btw

have you tried using a different memory stick? it may just be that the mem card has become corrupted.

the xbox 360 reads mine like that sometimes as well, if you give it a couple tries it'll eventually pull through and work proper. but yeah if anything try a different usb cable.

Go to Start and right-click on the Computer link and click on Manage. Click Continue and then click Disk Management. Tell me if you see your PSP when it's hooked up or not.
