LCD Screen is broken..What should i do?

Hey everyone,

I haven't been able to use my psp for so long now due to someone breaking it....

The console is fine other than this one small problem....

... See what i mean.. B-R-O-K-E-N... And i hate it being like this...
I have decided i want to start using it again..

Yeah its sad...And real depressing for me to see...and even more because i own it...

Should i make the effort and fix it? or just sell it?? :/

Well replacing the screen is simple enough, it all really depends on if its a hacked PSP or not, i think it cost me about £35 for a new screen the last time i broke my screen, you'll be able to find video guides on youtube for replacing the screen so its up to you really, i would personally repair it as you'll pay less repairing than buying a new one.

I just went on ebay and bought a nw screen for $15 lol
Now i just have to wait a month for it to come from Hong Kong >.> haha

Nope, I don't think so... But, you can just use official firmware. We can sign homebrew to run on any firmware.

!!NEWSFLASH!!

I just recieved my new psp screen today!! and WOW! it even came with a set of screwdriver set to go with it !!!

I will do my best on getting my psp fixed today


FAIL EIDT: - lol

I got this psp console from ebgames second hand and they must of already opened it up before coz 2 of the screws are way messed up... I honestly cannot continue on from these screws...

SUPRISE EDIT!!!!!! - !!

After playing around i ended up ripping the faceplate off and got to the screen and replaced it. Then i put it back together and turned on the psp and the screen worked but the colors were messed up... so i opened the console back up again and re-tried it again.. after a few attempts i finaly got it! !

Now the screen is fixed and the psp still runs perfect.. although from not using the console for a long time the analog stick is being dodgy.. it keeps going to the top left..

Could someone please help with some tips on how to fix the analog stick?

Dude!! That's awesome! If you have CFW, you can use a program, otherwise, you can buy a cheap one off eBay. They are only a dollar or two and work great.

Yeah, I still have 5.00 M33-4 installed
