Cannot Run ISO's

Hey,

Well you guys gave me the advice to Downgrade my 2.71 TA-082 to 1.5... which I did

Then I installed Dark alexes 3.03 OE-C Custom Firmware with the easy installer.

Everything worked flawlessly.

The custom firmware runs nicely.

Only problem is... I put my ISO's in the ISO folder in the root of my memory card... and they show up in the Games category, along with their preview screens and etc...

Except when I launch the game... the Gameboot runs... and then... it goes back to the XMB and says

"The Game Could not Be Started"
(80020321)

What is happening... how can I fix it?

Do you have a UMD game inserted? make sure its not a movie either.

There is no UMD inserted... nor movie.

Apparently inserting a UMD was all it needed... Thankyou.

Thats only for homebrewing. I had the same exact problem as he did but I read around and answered my own question.

arto I was able to run iso's with kernal at w/e it was at. Then I tried to run emulators and those would not work until you showed me how to lower kernal.

I just keep my kernel set at 1.50, and then put my programs (either for firmware 1.00 or 1.50) in the same ol' GAME folder that I always put them in. When isos are placed where they should be, then all is well.
