it would be easier ( and safer) to update to 2.71 and use the 2.71 downgrader.

All it is is risky and that is it. Depending on how good you are at reading "read me" then you are safe. If you are worried about a brick, then go search for the 2.71 like Supa had said.

basic rule of thumb: if you follow directions, you don't mess anything up. If you have an unpatched version of GTA LCS then I suggest that you use the 3.03 downgrader... I just personally find it easier.

There is your problem right there. What if he doesn't have the unpatched GTA LCS? That is why Supa and I have referred him to use the other ones where he could do it within' a few seconds. All you are trying to do again is help so I guess it is okay. Just make sure we don't confused him with all these different downgraders.

Anyone noticed that the more people who need help on this section the more people who wont even respond.
Hes only been here for a day but a lot of other people have joined atleast a few days or weeks after their help topic
was created. Its either that they just dont want to respond and just want to be helped or they havnt even checked back.
Just thought I'd give a shout.
