Hi all im new here as you can tell my friend has installed homebrew on his psp his was 2.71 and a K in the discrption on the box but he dident say if his was a TA-082 M/B.

What im asking i mine has that M/B as I can see ici003 near UMD slot.

does this mean I cant install and run homebrew 3.03 oe-c?

And has a K on the box.

another Q if I may what is the big deal with home brew other than not having to have the UMD disk in the drive to play games etc.

ok, you can change tv channels with and infrared remote. and you can download iso's and play them.

also,play any game anyone has ever created.

plus much more.

ohhh nice does psp have infra red port then? if so dident know that.

allso me other half got sega mega drive collection and its asking to upgrade but i gauss thats not a good idea correct.

and if i use homebrew is all umd games compatable with it.
