I can't delete two of the files with the weird character symbols. Any idea of how to get rid of this?

Well maybe try to rename them then do that or do virus scan or defrag. If none of that works and you really want them gone swipe ur computer.

Can't do anything to them. Virus scanned it, defragging won't work when it requires removal of files.
This is on my memory stick btw, I got this after installing ROMs for my SNES emulator. So reformating will do no good.

Specifically, I just finished playing Super Mario World and I turned off the emulator by going to the menu and exiting. Ten minutes later I felt like playing again so I start up the emulator and find Super Mario World gone. I check my SNES game folder to see what's inside and I found the two weird files. Because of that, I can't run any of my ROMS now.

I have found a solution. I just formatted my memory stick. Now everything seems to be okay.
