Need some help with DAX on DAX ZISO loader

First off I'd like to say I'm fairly new to psp (bought mine 2 days ago) So far i've gotten down the downgrading/upgrading and I'm now happily using 3.10 OE-A.

So here's my problem. I can't for the life of me get .dax files working with Dax ZISO loader.
I've done the usual stuff:
Compressed .iso to .dax succesfully
smacked the DAXZISO folder to the root of my ms
smacked the %__SCE__DAXZISO and __SCE__DAXZISO folders to PSP/GAME150
smacked the .dax to the ISO folder
Started the Dax Ziso loader
Chosen the .dax game
then it goes tits up. The screen stays black and After a while the power light goes off and i have to restart my psp.

I'm sure you guys can help me.

well, the dax ziso loader is not needed with 3.10 oe-a, or even compatible. I was confused when I had first started to use custom firmware too ;), so don't feel bad lol.

In fact, the isos can be put in the iso folder on the root of the memory stick and just be loaded from the main menu. HOWEVER, the .dax compression is not compatible with custom firmware, so you will have to use .iso (normal) or .cso (compressed - like .dax) in order to play isos.

Oh I see. Thanks for the help. Looks like ' Ill have to switch to .cso. Does custom firmware support .cso from the get-go or do I need to get something like Devhook?

EDIT: Well I tried it myself and it worked with the .cso compression like a charm. Case closed. Thanks again and keep up the good work. 8)
