cant get PSX to work

i got 3.40 oe on my PSP and i cant seem to get final fantasy tactics(psx) to work on it i tried for hours now, any advice/help/tuts?

You are going to want to download a tool called popstation GUI
Tell us what you've tried so far and we can assist you from there.

well i got an eboot from a torrent and tried putting that in just about every folder of the psp
now after that didnt work i though "maybe its not patched" so i got popstation and extracted the ISO and tried to patch it again (it should be noted at this moment that i have all of the files i need for popstation to work ie: keys.bin, cywin.dll on their respective folders) so i got the Eboot and tried having it on all the folders and it didnt work.

you need to put the eboot.pbp in the
x://PSP/GAME/FOLDER
"FOLDER" can be named anything you want (I just put the name of the game I'm using). So I'd make a folder named "FFTACTICS" in the "GAME" folder and put the eboot.pbp in there
With popstation GUI I'm not sure the keys file is even necessary to include - can't remember for certain though.

You have to name the folder the games UCLUS code.

No you don't. You could name the folder "Barney's Anal Sex Extravaganza" and put any eboot.pbp of a ps1 game in it and it will pick it up in the main psp menu to play.
