Hi there, really hope you guys can help me out with this problem. I'm completely new to all of this psp home brewing and downloading game, downgrading etc etc

I just downloaded Virtua Tennis 3. I'm using a psp that I got on the launch day in the U.K. If I go to system information, it says I'm using version 2.82. The tennis game is a cso file.

So what do I do? How do I get this on my psp or memory stick?
How do I transfer it?

If someone can help me with a step by step explanation, I would be most grateful! As I said, I'm completely new to this so please be gentle.

Cheers

Well yah see, lucky you. In order to downgrade a 2.81 to 1.5 (1.5 is the only firmware that can run homebrew, as in a program or ripped psp game from a umd, aside from custom firmwares, and you need to either have one of DA's custom firmwares on yuor psp or downgrade to 1.5 in order to do what you want to do.) you need a unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City stories and upgrade your psp to system version 3.03. Then you can downgrade to 1.5 and then upgrade to any custom firmware you would like to(such as 3.10OE-A firmware or even 3.40OE-A). Then you will be able to transfer the file to your psp's memory stick using either a usb cord or a usb memory card reader plugged up to your computer.

O and I guess that info is good for UK psp's too. Not sure though.

Thanks for the reply. Still pretty unsure of this though, hope you guys can clarify a few things for me.
I'm using 2.82 at the moment. I did what the above post said and popped in GTA Liberty City (already owned a copy) and waited for the software update option, the psp then said that I didn't need to upgrade as I already was on 2.82. How do I get around that? Is there a piece of software I can use to manually downgrade my 2.82 to a 1.5?

Help!

ok first things first...what ver did it say for the update for your gta game...was it 2.00 or 2.60? For the downgrader to work it must say 2.00.

If its 2.00 you can proceed to using this tutorial to downgrade your psp to 1.50. http://www.pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7034

Once you have succesfully downgraded to 1.50 you can use this link to get to 3.03 oe-c. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/460892

If you get stuck, dont guess on stuff...ask your question here.
