I am new to custom firmware and i sucessfully downgraded my psp to 1.50, then, upgraded to 3.03 oe!
Anyways i let my younger brother play on it and he broke my lcd :( he has gave me his psp as a replacement but it is 3.40 official sony firmware!!
I tried to take the screen out of his psp and put it tn mine, but when i came to take the lcd out, two screws wont come out!
They are the two on the battery pack side they are a dark grey and will not come out.
I have tried screwdrivers and glueing the screwdriver to the screw but tey will not budge! Just wondering if they are a left hand thread or something?????
Has anyone got any ideas please??????????????????

yeah they wont budge cause your not using the proper screwdriver.... you need to use a #000 phillips...anything else will struggle for the screws in the battery compartment and will most likely result in stripping the screws.

Please read the rules before posting again. No double posting just edit your previous post. Your prolly using a phillips that is either too big or the has the bottom rounded over.

Pocket knife ftw. I know it's kinda taboo in the electronics "field", but as a hobbyist of electronics, and after not ever having the correct screwdriver on hand, I've always been able to resort to my trusty ol pocket knife(s) to do the job.

I use my pocket knife all the time. Especially on like tri-wing screws from nintendo or some crappy screw like that.
