You need to use devhook to emulate a firmware and then i believe you use umdgen to change the firmware required. Ace_012 could explain this process if you want to pm him.

Although, you can always upgrade to custom firmware 3.03 oe-c or 3.40 oe-a. Trust me, its a lot easier.

If you want to go the custom firmware route just let us know and we'll provide you with a tutorial or easy installer.

Actually like staxx said, you can play games that require a higher firmware even if you were on say, 3.51 M33. Just gotta use UMDGEN v4 to edit PARAM.SFO so that the required firmware is lower then the firmware you have. Yea, ask if you want me to explain it in depth. But that's for ISO's so yea. Just upgrade to custom firmware though man, it is easier. Either 3.03OE-C, or 3.40OE-A is the most used ones. Also 3.51M33 just came out but has some bugs.
