My firmware is 3.10 OE-A and I am tring to upgrade to official Sony 3.50 firmware. I downloaded the frimware from www.dl.qj.net, extracted it, renamed it to Eboot.PBP, copied it to \PSP\GAME\UPDATE, and tried to run it. The PSP logo appears then the screen turns black then I get this message "The game could not be started (DADADADA)". Why is this happening?

Not a problem. I'll just move the topic to the Help section. In the future, don't double post either ;)

I had this same problem. I fixed it though. Sony made it to where you cant upgrade to a regular FW if you downgraded. I fixed this as i said earlier, you HAVE to use pandora to my knowledge. Unless they made a fixer by now(idk). I ran pandora. Put 1.50 on there. Then you can upgrade. Promise.

p.s Why do you want a sony FW? M33 rocks dude.

p.s.s. I always thought of the dadadada is a way of sony to laugh at you. lol
