Hey I've been outta the home brew game for a bit and I've just DLd a EBoot for an old game I loved. But I can't get it to work? Has an error to the effect of corrupted file etc. All I got was a folder and an EBoot file from the torrent. IIRC I need to make an identical folder with a % at the end? It didn't work for some reason... I copied in another Eboot file from another % folder of another application with nop love. The original eboot is 500 meg, atm I don't have a memory stick large enough to have that file twice. Is there away around that if that is the way to get it to run?

I have a PSP with 1.5

The game is Crusader - No Remorse.

I'm on an intel mac, so I'd prefer a Mac solution if possible, if not, I can do PC. I mention this because I seam to remember some thing aobut a 'loaded' program or something...

Please help :)

PS I thought I should start my own thread instead of hijacking...

????

Not sure, the torrent didn't give me much info. I used to have it on my old PC, so I guess it could be either. If it was on PS1 then yeah it would probably be that version.

That help at all?

Not really, what platform is the game for? You said you downloaded an old game you loved, but you don't know what you played it on? Did you play it on a ps1? Or is it a computer game? Im guessing it's a ps1 game since it's an eboot. But if you want to play a ps1 game then you have to upgrade to a compliant custom firmware such as 3.40OE-A, or 3.52M33-4 are the most common ones that have ps1 emulators built in. Once you upgrade to a custom firmware then all you have to do is make a folder in your GAME folder on the psp, title it the SLUS number of the ps1 game, then stick the eboot directly in that folder. Then you just go to games on your psp and play it.

yea so i reccomend you to upgrade to firmware 3.40oe-a or 3.52M33-4 there are many tutorials out there and i think both are in the tutorial section of this site once your done that just put the EBOOT.PBP and if there is the DOCUMENT.DAT in a new folder and then move that too. Rename the new folder to the name of your game. Then drag that folder to your GAME folder and play it from the game menu ull understand when u upgrade to 3.52M33-4 or 3.40oe-a heres a newbie guide to get you going http://www.pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9454 made by staxx

Actually I just checked, and for some reason I just couldn't find a tutorial here to install 3.52M33! I been needing to install it anyways, so I guess I can make a tutorial while I upgrade.
