Shrink ISO?

Quick question:

I did all the tutorials and made my PSP brewready yesterday, then Googled and downloaded an ISO, and then I'm playing The Bigs, sans UMD.

VERY NICE.

Here's the thing though. The ISO is something like 850mb. My memory card is 1 gig. So basically, I can carry only this one game on my memory card... So, is there any way to make it smaller? To shrink it?

If I'm going to have to go buy a monster (or a few smaller) memory cards, I might as well just go buy the game.

Any help?

Also, since we're here, with my firmware, do I have to do anything differently when trying to use a CSO as opposed to an ISO? Or can I just put the CSO in my ISO folder and play it through GAMES?

You can convert the game to .cso compression. That should save a lot of space. Depending on the game, it may shrink just a bit or a lot. Both ISO and CSO are run from the "ISO" folder on the root of the memory stick.

Is there a CSO converter that you would recommend?

Is UMDGen v4.0 any good?

I use UMDGEN v4.0 all the time. Very good for removing extra padding and converting it to a .cso ;) The smallest I ever got an iso was 65mb (Astonishia story) using that program.

Can you actually make ISO files of PSP UMD's with UMDgen?

And no, you cannot use UMDGEN to get the iso off your psp. You can use it to construct an ISO from the files you copy and paste, but otherwise no.
