Crait, u need to convert your battery and memory stick to DAX's cematrio unbricker/M33 making ones. Keep the battery and memory stick too. Duh. But anyway, DAX has already made a 1.50 kernal thing for loading the Cematrio screen on a slim.....So a 1.50 kernal might be in production....ANy more questions, PM me

it's my favorite firmware so i'd be totally okay with that
so far there isnt anything bad about it
how about when you hook it up to the tv?

Watching movies on it you get great quality. I haven't been able to get games to play through yet but I mainly use mine to watch movies anyways.

I haven't figured out how to do it yet. I have bought their damn cable and can watch movies easily but games I think I have to have composite cables...I have the A/V cables but I am not sure what composite is so they might not be the right ones.

its pretty
and it says it outputs everything
you probably have to do it under tv settings
i want to know what the screensaver looks like

Everything I try it says this:

To display this screen on a connected device, you must be connected using a component AV cable or a D-terminal AV cable and you must output the video content in progressive format.

I have tried changing my TV Type to both 16:9 and 4:3.
My Component/D-Terminal setting is set to progressive.
And I have the screensaver disabled....

Still no joy.

I found the answer. As soon as I find a screen capture for my comp I will post a screen shot...BTW I do have the wrong cable.

EDIT:
The cable circled in red will play UMD movies and .mp4's with no problem but only the cable circled in blue will play games on the TV.

~update~
its not so bad, (cuz my brother just recently got the exact one) it just has 3.60 so u need a Desperado Cemiterio to get it to 3.60M33 but it does load faster.
