Hey I need some help downgrading my psp using Pandora's GUI v1.5 from 3.71 to one of the custom frame ware.
When I try to downgrade my psp, it starts up like you gonna play the game on it then it say ("THE GAME COULD NOT BE STARTED 8002014C') can any one give me some help?

youneed a homebrew enabled psp to make the pandoras battery and memory stick, what you are clicking on is the pandora installer which is a homebrew app so, you need homebrew

homebrew is a custom made program made by anyone who has simple knowledge of the language C++ (computor code or "matrix")you will need a psp that has 1.50 or any OE, LE, or M33 firmware to make a pandoras battery.

ok so when I download this then can i down grade my psp? and which one to use?

you will need another psp with custom firmware to make the pandoras battery so no you really cant download the "pandora"

if you know any1 with custom firmware then you can downloadthe oandoras battery and let them make it
if it is a new slim psp then use the desperado cemitario

im not understanding nothing, i have a psp frame work 3.71 i want to get to a custom wear. I saw some videos that you can do so but I just dont know how to do it. I have been reading froums like for months and still dont get it.....um so i just cant down grade?

First of all, it's called FIRMWARE, and CUSTOM FIRMWARE. Maybe that's your problem. But you need to make a pandora's battery and stick the necessary files on a memory stick to downgrade your psp to FIRMWARE v1.50. Then you can upgrade to a custom FIRMWARE. There's tutorials in the tutorials section on how to make the pandora's battery and memory stick that goes with it.

I don't see how much more plain it can get. You make a Pandora's battery with the memory stick that has downgrading files on it, use it to downgrade your psp to firmware v1.50, then you can upgrade to a custom firmware.

You see the pandora's battery is the thing Sony uses to fix broken psp's. Sorta like a service mode type of thing. It changes the way your psp's battery works, makes your psp go into service mode, and makes it go back to 1.50 (first firmware out in America). Then you can upgrade to a custom firmware since the official 1.50 firmware is the only official firmware that allows you to run homebrew directly from your psp without any other means.

you can go to qj.net or psp-hacks.com, but there about as much help as we would be with this issue, and if you asked on the forums they'd probably treat you like a nub with no respect.

thats funny, am just asking cuz I dont know i wouldnt know what they would treat me like that. I know i done all that and its just might not be me and can just be the files. some times it just .. i dont know but thanks tho I will try to do it on my own.

I think I done every thing down load read every thing. I dont even know. I down load Cw3.71m33 and use panda to try to downgrade my psp from 3.71 to 1.50 it wont let me I done every way that the google video said how and so on I just dont know what im doing worng..

Alright, lemme me give it a shot.

Your PSP is sony's Official 3.70 Firnware.

In order to downgrade, you will need to make a pandora's battery or buy one.

In order to make a pandora's battery, you will need a PSP with firmware 1.50 or a CUSTOM Firmware. Or you can open up your battery and mess with the insides to make a pandora's battery.

Once you make the pandora's battery, you need to make a Magic Memory Stick, by sticking certain files on your memory stick.

with the combination of this 'pandora's battery' and 'Magic memory stick' inserted in your psp, it will downgrade to a lower firmware, 1.50 firmware.

The process of making the pandoras battery requires the use of a home-brew app(a home-made application that you can use to play games or whatever) But to play home-brew, you will either need to be on 1.50 or a Custom Firmware.
