I am getting error "The Memory Stick could not be read. If you cancel, you may not be able to start the PSP system. Check that the Memory Stick is correctly inserted, and then press the x button. (80010005)" when attempting to upgrade from 3.71 M33-2 to 3.72 HX-2.
Should the 372.PBP file be directly in the root or in the same folder as the eboot and the umodule.prx?

I really want to warn you about your upgrade to HX-2 I think you should stay on 3.71M33. I just downgraded from HX-2 and will never go back. I am expecting Dark Alex to release 3.80 just before Christmas. Trust me it will be worth the wait.
Problems I had while using HX-2...
No Popstation. That is the main thing I use my PSP for.
Random lockups. The PSP would freeze whenever the action got heavy playing Puzzle Quest if you consider that game to have heavy action.
I upgraded to 3.73 and had all of the above problems but no 1.50 kernel and no boot menu. Darkmoon and Pandora saved my PSP!
Trust me there are many forums that flame HellDashX for releasing HX-2. I will only go as far as not recommending it to anyone that is not in a position to fix it.

So do you recommend just sticking with the 3.71 M33-2 ?

you can update to 3.71 m33-4 as there has been 2 more updates to that firmware... but yes i would suggest at sticking to m33 firmware for now cause i've heard nothing but bad from the helldash x firmware.
