Hi guys installed 3.80 M33-5 this eve and want to run FFVII on my psp i've ripped a .bin and a .cue file for the game from my disc using Toast

I've put them in a folder called ISO in the GAME folder of the psp root.

When i try and run it from the memory stick it says corrupted game

I have i done it right is there something blatant i'm missing or screwed up?

You have to run PS1 games as EBOOT.PBP files. Use this tutorial to rip the game into an ISO then convert it to an EBOOT.

Brilliant Thankyou!

I have now used autopostation and made my FFVII eboot. when i put it onto my psp it plays the initial cut scene and then crashes when i come to the first fight. would this mean i need to rip it agin as something went awry?

I think there might be a patch for that game for that firmware, sometimes certain games mess up on 3.80 and 3.90.

Ok so i think i've established that i need the

Patch For Loading 3.71 FATMS Driver On 3.80, 3.90 M33 v2

I've downloaded the patch but the info says i also need fatmsmod.prx from 3.71. I've googled and looked around but can't work out how or where to get it

the patch info says
- Using psardumper get fatmsmod.prx from 3.71. It doesn't matter if it is decrypted, encrypted, etc

think i'm almost there and this is my last noobish hurdle,

Hm I can't help you really since I haven't had any experience with those firmwares, but I think you might have to download a popsloader for that firmware in order to play the game.
