No not really. It depends on what software you choose to upgrade with. It USED to be that you had to crawl through the different versions but not anymore.
Some versions of Despertar del Cementerio will upgrade you to custom 3.71 and higher. You may however need to have official versions of the firmwares from 1.50- whatever you are upgrading to. I tell you this so you are prepared.
When in doubt, Google out, and take your time reading the instructions.
