Does anyone know if its possible to run a GBC gameshark ROM and activate some cheats then use those cheats on a GBC game? If not is there a way to run cheats on the RIN v1.32 Emu?

Cause on RIN 1.32 it says "Load Cheat File" in the menu. What "Cheat Files" is it talking about?

I never used a gbc emu, only a gba, but i know on some that if you hit a certain button, an advaced menu will come up in a game and some ask to allow cheats and to put them in. See if there is an advaced menu in the gbc emu, its usually found while playing a game, going to a menu with stuff like frameskip and how fast to run it and all that stuff, and then there should still be a move advanced menu, where you could activate cheats. I don't know if this is in the gbc emu, but I know it's in the snes emu, but I'll look into it for you.


ok - i found some ways to put in cheats - pm me and i'll let you know or i'll just put it here how i do it later.

This is to use the cheat function on rin 3.2
I played around with it for awhile and found out how to use it. You have to set up a text file and enter it in this format:

After last code hit enter twice.

Example: Pokemon Blue cheats look like this

Infinite Money 1

Infinite Money 2

Infinite Money 3

I had to separate the infinite money code to make it work because it is 3 codes.
Then Save the file the name of the ROM Except instead of .txt put .tch at the end.
ex: rom file
Pokemon - Blue Version (UE) [S][!].zip
Save cheat file as:
Pokemon - Blue Version (UE) [S][!].tch
