Problem with portable vnc..

I used it twice when I initially got it (2 days ago), and I tried with an internal IP to my laptop, then external. But I tried from school yesterday, after I changed my network settings, and I chose the correct network, and it just hangs at WiFi DHCP. I erased the portable vnc homebrew off my memory card and put it back on (a default copy), then it worked once, I chose my network, then I looked at options, left that alone, then went back, then chose network select, then i chose my network again, and it is stuck at wifi DHCP again.

Any ideas?

So if u wanna use it on ur comp google where to dl vnc i thnk vnc.com but idk and make sure ur firewall is off on ur comp and it should work.If u want control other comps ull have to install vnc server on them to control them.

Lol. yes, I know that. That isn't the problem (i've already tested it twice, worked fine, even with external IP), the problem is that it hangs at Wifi DHCP. i'm guessing i should set up static ip for wherever I go.

oh well i gotten on with dhcp, problem is u gotta get ur comps CURRENT ip and then edit the connection settings on ur psp, but it is easier if it's static.

This is the screen it hangs on.

I tried your advice, it didn't help.

Edit: Note, I am using version 1.2.1. on FW 1.5
And also note that this is freezing while trying to connect to my router.
it doesnt necessarily freeze, because I hit home, and it asks if i want to quit, i click yes, then it brings me back to the screen i was on (in the picture above.)

if u have a firewall on it does that. But heres how i got it to work
1.make an automatic connection on ur psp
2.after u make it, test it and wait till all the numbers pop up, then write down the ip, router, dns numbers that it shows.
3. go back into the auto connection u made with ur psp and fill in all the numbers u wrote down from the test connection that u did.
4. after youve written those down, take the IP ADDRESS OF UR PSP that u put in the settings, right the vnc icon in taskbar and click ADD NEW CLIENT and put ur psps ip address in there.
5. boot up vnc and go to add new host, then on ur comp, hover ur mouse over the vnc icon and ur PC'S ip address will appear, put that to ur new host and whatever port ur psp shows default, i think 5900 or something like that, take and set the VNC ON UR PC to use that for incoming connections.
6. finalize and connect ur psp

IF U STILL HAVE PROBS, I CAN POST SCREENSHOTS K

double click the vnc on ur taskbar and make sure it accepts connections from the port and ipaddress ur psp is using.
