I need help or advice to create an ISO image from the PSP_GAME & UMD_DATA using UMDGEN, or if I should use a different application. Also what I should do if the UMD requires a different/ higher firmware and is a different region and what PRX fixes I should use once I get the ISO image. Thanks!

ok open umdgen take the folder psp_game and file umd_data.bin and drag them into umdgen. next if the game you have is 2.6 and higer you need to get get prx files from a game that worked (
make_2.6_psp_games_work_using_these_prx_files_PSPBREWdotCOM.rar). once you obtain them goto PSP_GAME/USER_DIR/MODULES(some games many have two modules folder modulesK and modules just paste the correct prxs in each folder. after that click file>save as>ISO
THANKS

What application do you reccomend using to play them/ what works best... devhook? Or is there anything else that you find works better. By the way thanks again!
Also, do I need the prx files for 2.5 games if they are a different region? Or does Devhook take care of that?
-----edit-----
I tried to load the game, but it would go as far as the gameboot, then froze up on a black screen. Do I need to use an older version of Devhook? Or is the new v42 sufficient? I'm just at a brick wall here. By the way UMDGEN made the ISO perfectly, thanks again.

EDIT:you dont need to change 2.5 games cuase you can emulate 2.5 with devhook its only 2.6 games that you need to change

I'm trying to load a european ISO of EXIT, I'm having some problems making it work, I get to the gameboot screen, then it seems like it loads, but then the sceen just goes black. It stays on and the brightness can be adjusted, but everything else stops working. I don't know if I should use a different version of Devhook or what. Please help thanks!
----edit----
Now I am starting to think it was the data to create the ISO that was corrupt, because I am using a demo of LocoRoco and it loads perfectly on Devhook, so thanks for your guy's help!

Could you describe it in details?
