Due to the large amount of people posting asking for some good games for these assorted systems, I decided to compile a running list which I will update as the list grows. Post you favorite games for each of these systems here. Please format it like this so it is easy to read:
NES
Metroid Lifeforce MegaMan 2
SuperMarioBros. 3 Contra 2 Megaman 3
Legend of Zelda Tecmo Superbowl
Legend of Zelda 2 Blaster Master
Castlevania Punch-Out
Castlevania 2 Ninja Gaiden series
Castlevania 3 DoubleDragon2
SNES
Super Metroid
any Mario (mario all-stars for the NES remakes)
Breath of Fire series
Final Fantasy series (still can't get III to run smooth >< )
Mortal Kombat II (thats right, just II)
any street fighter
Killer Instinct (runs awesome even when you use the super speed code)
Contra III
Spiderman and Venom in Maximum Carnage (ah... memories)
mega man X series

I've been playing FF6 (or 3 US) recently, Terdinglage, and for the best settings I use 333 mHz, 11 Hz sound, and Frameskip of 4... the animations can be a little choppy with that frameskip, but it keeps it from lagging to crap when you enter a huge city (though the music will slow down a tad sometimes if there's a lot going on)
I'd add...
NES:
Gradius
Gradius 2
Bubble Bobble
Super Dodge Ball
Shadowgate
SNES:
F-Zero
Gradius 3
Chrono Trigger
GBA:
Fire Emblem
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (best one IMO <.<)
Sword of Mana
FFTactics Advance

Try putting the Clock at 333 MHZ and toggling with the frame rates.
Press the anolog stick left if you are un sure how to go to those settings.Or if you want to toggle witht he frame rates faster, press the analog stick down to make it go lower and up to make it go higher.
Always works for me, except on Super Mario RPG, it has really good quality, bt too hard to toggle.
Try those options.
Hope that helped!
