2.00 downgrader trojan psp bricking virus detected??????

hey its me again, i just began my downgrading process and when i extracted the files from the 2.oo downgrade eboot folder my anti virus detects a trojan psp bricking virus and delets it.

1. is this file suposed to be in there, as i have heard that when you screw up your psp the catch fraze is "you bricked your psp"

2. if its suposed to be there how do i stop it from being deleted.

3. IS THIS ONE OF THOSE SONY BRICKING FILES!!

ok as long as you get it from psp-hacks.com pspupdates.com or the MPH website its ok if it is detected

as for the second question if it still comes up, just turn norton off

Alternative to MPH downgrader!

Or you could just download PSP SET X and trick your firmware into thinking it's 1.0 using the FIRMWARE TWEAKS option, then exit the eLoader and voila, your PSP is tricked into thinking it's a 1.0, so you are free to use the 1.5 update and have fun with the rest of us. I did this on a friends PSP because I had the same problem with MPH downgrader. This works perfectly as far as I can tell, but you are still using AT YOUR OWN RISK, although i doubt anything will happen if you do everything right. GOOD LUCK!

quick question when your using devhook do u put all the iso files in the iso folder on the root dir.?
