OK im not stupid and i know how to use a PC but i cannot get the free psp games working on my PSP? i have v1.0 a jap import 2with english titles but i cannot get it to run these games after packng them and extracting to psp root?.....they run to black screen then take me straight back to the menu?
Also what update do i need for a jap import with english menus to v1.5 .....do i need english 1.5 or jap 1.5?

umm...is it the right rom that ur using? something if you're not using the right rom or folder, then thats what it does sometimes...Also, try to not extract them to ur psp...try to extract them too your desktop,(that works for me, i donno about anyone else though)...

Do you know if i can apply the firmware update 1.5 to my psp? its a jap import with english titles but i dunno which update to apply and where to find them?

damsnell, you have a 1.0 version correct? currently the pack generator doesnt work with 1.0... give me a couple days on that. Until then go to www.psp-hacks.com and download there brew. They have the 1.0 version (you DONT need to do the folder splitting thing with the %) just put the eboot.pbp in a folder and put that in the GAME folder and ur ready to go.

see if you have 1.0 i wouldnt upgrade to 1.5 because u have to deal with more. But you can find the update and information at psp-hacks.com

make sure u read up in their forums first.

I have tried the version 1 of pacman and i get the same? corrupt data after extracting?

damsnell, right now none of the homebrew will work on your psp because our packgen doesnt support it. Right now im at work so I can talk long. You have two options, PM and I'll explain how to add it to your psp without the packgen, or wait until monkey makes it so our packgen supports 1.0.

can some plz help. i can't play any nes games on psp. i keep getting an error message when i try to start the icon on my memory stick. i have a usa 1.5 version
