Ok, this is a simple trick that gets what corrupt data you have on your psp out of the way. Just follow these easy steps.

1. Change the date on you computer to anything later than today's date

2. Open your PSP's GAME folder

3. Cut and Paste any folder with a % on it onto your computer

4. Cut and Paste the % folders from your PSP back onto the PSP GAME folder

5. Turn PSP on and ejoy that corrupt data at the bottom of your list.

If anyone needs help for any reason feel free to PM me or just send me an IM on AIM at JustinWoodypond1

:!:

Open up the game folder, move all the folders with % to somewhere on your coputer and move them back into the game folder. Shazaam.

Or if the folder name of the app isn't specific you can just add

  Code:
"                              1"

to the folder without the %, and

"1~1%"

over the folder with the %

Example being

  Code:
JPEGVIEW                              1
JPEGVIEW1~1%

OR..
just use a "folder manupulators" and set date manually for each file, no biggie! :)
gotta find the link to the program.

and maybe command prompt can also do it ~:)

I have tried this with "NesterJ NES Emulator" and "NesterJ NES Emulator%"

but changing them did not hide the corrupt data, It even made it unplayable.

so my question is, what did I do wrong.

It hid the corrupt files for me with NesterJ

  Code:
NesterJ                              1
NesterJ1~1%

Though the thing may be that it just needs the foldername it's already given.

I dunno, I just thought cutting and pasting would be easier for most people. Again, this is for the files that are NOT able to be hidden, just puts them at the bottom and are out of the way and not annoying.

So, PSP orders the icons
1) By Date (older to newer)
2) By Character based (not sure how)

my guess is, date is a better option then renaming, as some files/emus may have problems with the structure as monkeymaximus mentioned.

or, you could just use SeiPSP tool. It converts any PBP file for you and it hides them as well. Its hides every corrupt file garunteed. I have all of mine hidden.

Tats possibly because that changed it!When I used it I used it perfectly fine. And tats was like 3 weeks ago so they must of changed it by then.If they use wad files now then I guess they use wad files.

You're sh*t me, Mailasg.

Anyway they changed the directory for the wad files and if you look in the WADS folder you'll be in for a suprise.
