3.03 OE on the way!

I saw this while browsing max console, someone already has thrown it up on the qj forums so expect it to hit the Topsite shortly.

He begins by talking about PSX2PSP, but.....

Anyways this will be fixed in popcorn.prx of 3.03 OE-A by searching the iso offset in the pbp header, but currently in 3.02OE-B, isos whose header are not at 0x50000 cannot be guaranteed to work.
In fact they could work depending of the luck of the values of the data that are at offset 0x50400+.

No need to change nothing in the app anyways, since i may start working in 3.03 OE tomorrow, and it should be ready next day.

id like to see sumthin like an easyer way to flash a new topmenue_plugin.rco so we can easaly put our own XMB icons in, it took me 2 days to figure out how to get pspfiler to do that...

the only thing that i can see from a 3.03OE is being able to play sonys newest games..didnt they say something about a new formate or something?? idunno maybe i mis-read something

idk, but if you check on qj I guess DA has cracked the PSX compression algorythm

It's out, and now it supports compression for the PSX ISOs. Plus a few other things.

LOL I try to help :P

I'm using it right now, and it compressed RE3 from 688MB to 425MB. Not bad in my opinion.
