which firmware?

ok, im not so much a noob, i just dont know what i should do.
right now, i have a psp thats 1.5, and i have devhook on it which ive been using to play iso's. now that theres psx converts coming out, what should i do? should i just leave things the way they are? or shoul di upgrade to this new 3.02 oeb firmware im reading about? if anyone could add me to msn itd save alot of time thnx for any help or suggestions!

will i still be able to play all the iso's i have right now?
also how different is it to load the iso's? im a creature of habit and im real used to the "home-R" for selecting iso's lol
i just wanna make sure i can use it as im going away for 2 months tomorro!
and wont have any internet to ask for help lol

what umd? only one i have is a sampler, which ive used with devhook and umd emulator.
can i use this same one? it only needs to see that theres one in there right?

Lol, dont worry, that will work, you need UMD's to play the ISO still. But for this you do not need devhook, it runs off the XMb.

sweet man can u hook me up with links to where i should DL?? is all i need is the 2 firmwares?
should i do this tonite? or just wait until i get back? is there much of an advantage id get at all? cuz im still only playing iso's. i have one psx which is parappa the rappa, never played it b 4 but heard its a classic.

you dont need to have a umd in your psp to play isos, i have 3.02 oe-b and i dont have a umd in and it still works

ok well i think i have 3.02 oe-a installed, although the system menu still shows 1.5, but i got a bunch of new root folders on the drive. but how do i load iso's??? i still need to load up devhook to do it, someone plz help! i leave in 12 hours!
