Can firmware 2.6 be upgraded to 3.03?

Hi everyone,
I got a psp with a 2.6 firmware. And I've noticed that the upgrade to 3.03 is only for those
with 2.81+ Is there a way that I can upgrade to 3.03 with a 2.6? Please, any help would
be appreciated!

dont upgrade you will want to downgrade to 1.50 and than you can upgrade to 3.03oe-c its a custom update and will make your psp better than sony ever can

do not upgrade you can do more at lower firmwares trust me i keep mine at 1.5
1.50 is best?

will the 2.71 downgrade work for my 2.6? and can you give me the links to these downgrades and upgrades you guys mentioned? thanks for the quick replies!

i sent you all the info in a pm already you are good to go. no the 2.71 can not be used for 2.60 you need to update to 2.71 first

Thanks!, my psp doesn't have IC1003 or any other number on it. So, I'm good to go, right?

I ran the 303oe-C_fw150_.exe and it says that it installed successfully. but when I check the
firmware, it says that its still 1.5...did I do sometihng wrong? should I reboot the psp. Any
suggestions?

use the downgrader i sent you with the gta:lcs unpatched (with the 2.00 update in the umd)
