hey guys. been readin as much as i could and can't figure out exactly what to do.

I just got a psp with firmware 2.6. i oped the UMD slot and it says IC1003 in the top right corner.

Question is: how do i downgrade to 1.5???? and should/can i then upgrade to 3.03OE-C (and what's the main benifts)

first update to 2.71 than use "hen d" http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/922 than you can use this downgrade http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/983 and if you want an easy install for 3.03oe-C pm me. but i recommend 3.03oe-C it is the bomb you can run lots of homebrew iso's and has flash0 and flash1 access for easy customization.

alright, i got 2.71 on here. i also loaded up the hen d thing. but when i try to downgrade to 1.5, it just says "blah blah blah no need to update"

what am i doing wrong??

all done. just forgot to rename the 1.5 eboot to update. haha, stupid me. thanks peoplez!!! :D
