Ok I havent followed PSP delopments on the past months so I am a little lost. I have v2.81 and i would like to know if i can downgade or upgrade. I have seen this 3.03 oe a and I do not know what exactly it is. Obviously it is a upgrade but if I upgrade to that can I play homebrew? You know and development that people can share with me are welcome. Anything for a v2.81 from the past 7 months. Please include any link available if there is a way to downgrade, any recommendation of what to do to my PSP and the how to's if you can. :D

Many Thanks In Advance - Gil

if you have an old copy of gta you can downgrade to 1.5 and then update to 3.03 OE-A

3.03oe-A,B,C are custom firmware that will allow the use of homebrew iso and cso loading home made ps1 eboots with compression for use on the sony made ps1 emulator. and easy access to flash0 and flash1 as well as the recovery mode

Ok I upgraded to 3.03 OE C en it is the bomb, now my last question is if I upgrade to 3.10 OE A, does it have the same features of 303 OE C, meaning that I can play homebrews like I was in 1.50 like I can do with 3.03 OE C?

PS: Thanks to everyone who has helped :) ;)

3.10 OE-A has the same homebrew features, but less customization options.

the flash player is something that allows macromedia flash "scripts" run in the webbrowser
to play flash games like on addictinggames.com or miniclips.com
3.03 oe has the ability to "flash" things to its hardware like modifications to the xmb, icons, and bootsound etc.
3.10 oe isnt able to do as much because its harder to flash stuff on it so people have to take longer to make them compatable, and since its fairly new, your range of programs that can flash to 3.10 oe is very small

Is there a tutorial where I can find the information on how to "flash" things to the hardware and customize?

nope
a lot of people want something flashed to thier psp, so they make a flasher for it
those are programs that save something automatically

And which is the best one? Or which one do you suggest?

all the flashers are different because they flash different things
there is no 1 flasher that flashes everything
say if you wanted to get a costum xmb wave effect
you would download the XMb wave file
then you would download the flasher
the flasher would flash the wave file to your psp
if you wanted to have custom font
you would need to get the font and the flasher
again, the flasher would flash the font
some flashers can flash a few things, like Flash Agent

If I wanted to flash a gameboot, right now I already created the gameboot and if I am correct that is the little movie that plays before the game load, but if i wanted to flash the one I made on 3.03 OE C what do I need to do it?
