a new custom firmware made by eiffel56 is out to day here are the stats

Custom firmware 1.53 is built on 1.50’s underlying weaknesses with additional goodies that you see below. Enjoy the simplicity!

* Recovery Menu
* Boot Menu
* Integrated uxMB
* You can start 1.00 style EBOOTS
* You can hide corrupt data icons
* You can start ISO/DAX files
* You can load your own plugins(PRX)
* Autoboot EBOOTs at startup
* Never turn off the backlight in XMB

guys i need help!!!!!!! wen it upgraded me it said 1.53, now it says 1.00 and it will only boot 1.00 stuff and i cant recover to 1.5. it wont boot normal updates. it is so screwed up. please help me!!!!!!!!!

scary either way, and yea, there were a few dev teams working on custom firmware until DA just blew them out of the water by repeatedly making updates that were better than theirs.

I'd rather get 3.02 oe-b, 3.03 oe-c, and 3.10 oe-b and all that then that 1.53.
