I am trying to install 3.02OE on a non-TA82 PSP. I downgraded from 2.71 to 1.50.
I copied the files over to my memory card into the PSP/GAME folder and when I
try to run the update it flashes the info screen real quick and dumps me to the XMB.
I was trying to use the DXAR I created on my PSP and use it to install this firmware
on my friends. Has anyone tried this update or run into this issue? I am making the
DXAR on my friends PSP to see if that makes a difference. Any ideas??

Here is an easy installer for Dark_AleX's newly released 3.40 OE-A custom firmware.
I take absolutely no credit for this installer, all credit goes to Crakills.
As most of you should already know this installer already has the DATA.DXAR generated for you so no need to do it yourselves.

Yea...use anything but 3.02OE-A, its outdated.

How do I upgrade my PSP from 3.02 to 3.40?
