OnLive

Apologize if someone has brought this up before, or if everyone knows about it, but... Amazing!

This is the first I've ever heard about it! :P

Re: OnLive

Won't survive. Too many times when people don't have internet or enough fast to play without lag... (Even though that dude says it doesn't have lag.)
And especially if we are charged per MB for our internet usage like a lot of ISP's want, this is going to be completely dead in America.

And that's not even including all the con's of having only digital distribution.

Re: OnLive

Works great for me... And my internet is sh*t, Lol. I figured all it was was streaming video and keystrokes being sent to the service.

It stops piracy. If you don't have hardware, you can't pirate except on a software level. It protects the developers and game companies. This is the future. It WILL survive, just perhaps not "now". Kinda like how SEGA has been ahead of their time? Yeah. This is ahead of its time, today, but tomorrow, it will be the norm.

Loads of people don't have a really good internet connection. I agree with crait, it won't survive...

Re: OnLive

Yep, Internet speeds are getting faster and faster every year.

I remember people saying "Videos will never be able to be streamed over the internet" in the dial-up age. I now point at them, laugh, and call them retards. XD
