mplayer 0.05 not working

hello, i have mplayer 0.05 installed put & the video i want to play is in the root of my sd card, but when i go to play it back all i get is a black screen. any way to fix this? i put .04 back on the card & it works just fine. thanks for ur time & help

Just use 0.04 until 0.06 comes out. I personally don't use the media apps because I use XBMC, but it could be an error with the 0.05 version.
