Wads/Roms/Emulators?

Alright guys I got the HomeBrew Channel working good. I have a question though. It comes with a bunch of Emulators like GameBoy Color, SNES, Genesis etc. but how do I put games into those? Do I use rom files? Can someone explain to me how I do that. Cause I need some help on that thanks!

Seconds Question: I downloaded a crapload of wads. I got the Wad Manager, and I installed some wads but once I go to my Wii Menu and try to play the game it says "You can't use this channel." Does anyone know why it's saying that? I'm installing the wads correctly with Wad Manager right? Please help me out thanks a lot!

You may have installed wads that were not for your region. I've never heard of the error before. There is an app called "free the wads" I think that will make wads region free. You can also use something like starfall to edit your system menu to work with wads of any region.

As far as roms on the emulators go, you need to have the roms in the right folder, depending on the emulator. Check out http://wii.brewology.com/index.php?page ... e&packId=2. In the emulator section, if you look at the emulator descriptions, it says where to put roms. Just match up the emulator titles.

Also you can't use a Wii remote to play emulated homebrew games such as Genesis and Nintendo classics yet. You need a game cube controller to play them but I think it will be a matter of time before emulator updates come out that support the Wiimote.

I know there's a region spoofer for the Wii.
Try that out to see if the games work.
