homebrew channel

hi is it possible to install the home brew channel on a Wii on 2.1e firmware

As far as I know you need to be on 3.2 or 3.3. You cannot update to these versions through Nintendo's network because it will automatically bring you to 3.4, which the Twilight hack cannot be used for. Search around to see what game has the 3.2 or 3.3 update and use that to update your Wii.

thanks i thought that was the case because i have done 3 so far all started as 2.1e and i had to run mario kart to get them to 3.1e as there is no game i could find with 3.2e but i have the wads ios30 and menu290 which update to 3.2e but i have to have the homebrew channel on to do that update using wadmanager
I still have 2 wiis to do I have a lot of grandchildren!!!! and so i will have to try and borrow mario kart again
