‘… /FIX/US/ENG/index01.html…’ Error
How I unbricked my Mod Chipped, un-internet connection set, Homebrew installed, mistakenly updated with another region code Wii…
I had never connected to the internet, and after stupidly updating the system, I could no longer play backups nor could I get into Wii Settings…
If I tried to go to settings, it gave me the ‘… /FIX/US/ENG/index01.html…’ Error… as I had never connected to the Internet…
So I went in to Homebrew, and ran the Anyregion Changer v1.1b…
When I ran it, it stated at the top – AREA\SysMenu MISMATCH!...
So I changed the region to Europe, saved the setting and rebooted the Wii…
I was then able to get into Wii Settings!!! So I set up the Wireless connection…
Then I went back in to Anyregion Changer, set everything to USA and did the INSTALL SYSTEM MENU 3.2…
This was now able to reach the net and it did it’s thing… it errored at the end, but when I rebooted EVERYTHING was AOK!!!
THANKS Anyregion Changer!!!!
