Wawainko savegame problems

I updated my wii from Beta 9 to version 1.0.6 and it works fine, i did not brick my wii, but the savegame installer/extractor only comes up as "Not a valid wii application" and i have the cIOS installer but it doesn't show up under my applications even though it is in the folder. Anything i can do to get the savegame extractor/installer to work? I need the cIOS to get the savegame manager to work. Any help would be perfect! Thanks!
