Ya, the very first Ninja Gaiden games were for Nintendo. I have them . Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden 2 for the NES(Nintendo Entertainment System)

The game is definitely worth playing (at least renting) because of its new content (including being to play as rachel). plus the graphics are stunning (even better with a hdtv), if you havent bought the original then you should definitely buy this game.

I've never actually played this game... it looks pretty good though!

I would suggest you play it (if you like sword games). And the 2nd one is a 360 exclusive.

is it like god of war at all?

kinda but not as faced paced... more of a story and you trying to do whatever it takes to get to the goal. Just so you know the game is extremely difficult.

Yay i enjoy dificult games because i hate finishing them to fast and not playing much of it again.

I just rented this game today, playing on an HDTV, the graphics are AMAZING! And I heard this game was difficult< I guess at certain points like those ninjas on horses! Those things are tough.
