You have any idea how many computers and computer-assisted programs there are in our secretary of defense alone? I understand that the president won't be the one operating them, but without any knowledge about computers, how can he make educated decisions?

Not to defend Billy but you have to take into account that the internet was still a relatively new thing while he was president.

I'm not trying to F things up by saying that I don't think John McCain is a good candidate because he can't use a computer. That's John's bad... not mine. As que said, the internet was a new trend when Bill Clinton became president.

Bill Clinton took office in 1993
Yahoo! was created in 1995
Google was created in 1998

It's pretty easy to say that the foundation for the internet "boom" was Yahoo and Google. Of course, there's several hundred thousand other contributing factors, but the reason I bring up Yahoo and Google is because now look how huge they are. When Bill Clinton started his presidency, I'm not sure if broadband internet was even introduced yet.

There's absolutely no excuse for John McCain in regards to not being able to work a computer (for any reason). We are the United States of America. We are competing in a global market to be better than the rest. Let's elect a guy that doesn't even know anything complex about the economy or computers in general.... that sounds like a good idea to you?
