Wii vs Elite

Seriously? How many times have people debated which system is best? There is no answer, it's all a matter of opinion. People buy systems for different reasons.

Though I do not mind a console war, I was merely asking if trading a Wii for a 360 Elite was a good deal.

Technicaly 360 is the cheapest system in town so all I really expected was a yay or nay from a few. Still, I find the responses entertaining if not revealing of the popularity of the two systems.

If no one likes the comments then they are welcome to visit another thread but please, by all means, say your piece here before you go!

None of hte 3 next gen systems have really put out much that has made me think buying one would be a good move. :-\

but what I really mean is that Nintendo has the biggest customer population, so many people trust nintendo's products, and it's a kind of thing that Sony doesn't really have and Microsoft kind of does.

I have a 360 and love it since last December..... We went on vacation and some people brought a wii. We played it the whole time.

Honestly- Have parties? Get a Wii.
Play by urself most of the time (along with friends when they are at their house)? Get a 360

Wii is for partys
Xbox 360 for online multiplayer
ps3 for playing by urself and whatching movies in super high def

i dont have alot of partys so im selling my wii
i play halo 3 and BF: Bad Company online all the time (Gammertag Freybler)
i dont have a high def tv and theres not alot of ps3 games that interest me so im not buying 1

I don't think the PS3 or the Wii really are at full potential. I think the 360 is at it's peak right now and it can't get better.

Dude I totally agree. Just wanted to point out that's the exact same way I feel.

Alot of people think the PS3's online isn't good at all. I've never tried it but it sounds true.

As I understand it PS3 online is FREE! What's there not to like about that?

The fact that none of my friends have a ps3. Pretty much all of my friends own a xbox 360. Yes, I could play online on a ps3 but why would I want to play with a bunch of people I don't even know when I could get a 360 and play online with all my friends?

When you say PS3 is to play by yourself it means absolutely nothing, the same for the 360 is for playing by yourself. It may only apply to a minority of gamers.
