Sort of. It is supposed to be a dramatization of the 2000 election.
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.

I don't trust the CIA one bit. They've ruined governments elsewhere, and while I don't think that their plan is to "ruin" ours, I also don't think that they are working in our favor anymore. I think that the recent politics of fear stem off from the CIA directly.

What amazes me are the credentials that the top CIA officials have held. On top of that I would think that being a Yale or Harvard graduate would make you a better decision maker, guess not!
