Lol. You stole my joke :)
Abortion: I will answer with a quote "A woman's body is her own F**king business"-Jay. As a man, I have no part in the argument.
Stem cells: a good idea when the cells are taken from safe sources
Cloning: I don't think that anything like "Les enfants terribles" will happen any time soon.
You(me): The physical manifestation of awesome. I'm fine with existing.
This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

Reigo80 wrote:Abortion = Ok in some situations like que13x stated. Rape, life or death matters etc.

Cloning = Although it would be cool to go out on the town with another me. It's wrong to clone people. Animals is ok because it means less animals need to be born for food. same goes for plants, we clone them and then no more need for growing. The only bad thing with cloning is if say one sheep is alergic to say... a bee's sting then all the clones will be aswell.

Stem cells = Don't know what a stem cell is. Sounds like it's all about messing with cells and stuff. All I can say on this matter is... I Am Legend.

Me = I rule, and you know it ;D.

Haha yea I thought about that too, I Am Legend.. that was a cool movie! And yea, life and death matters i think it is ok for abortion like que stated.

wow sorry...
but not like what i said wasnt true....just quit freaking out guys

but i mean i dont understand how ANYONE with a working brain is against Stem Cell.
I mean if you are blind i promise you, you would want stem cell research, put yourself in the places of those people who can't walk, see, hear, talk or any of that. I mean i feel so bad for those people and i can't believe people dont want to follow the ONLY way these people can be helped.

I swear anyone who is against it i hope one day something horrible happens to you were you cant see, talk, watch, hear and ill see if you would still be against it. I mean just think about it, how useless and horrible life would be.
I mean this dude in our city was on the news for being the first person in the city to have stem cell and now he can see, because he used to be blind. Even though he cant se fully, i just saw the joy in his eyes, i mean how happy this person was it was better then anything i have ever seen. He could now see his wife who he hadnt seen for 20 years, he could see his children and its just made his life so much better.

Its doesnt matter if it kills a living thing thats not even able help itself, if it can help someone then it should be used all over the world

FarQueasy,

I would give you a run for your money if I did not agree with you in part. Still, I believe you are overstepping yourself a little bit and getting emotional and consequently upsetting some people.

All of us have working brains and I doubt 2 year olds visit forums regularly. Comments like those I think are what is causing a major part of the issue.

I would very much like to see the thread(s) and debates go on and not get locked. I would also like to see everyone participate in a civil and respectful manner.

You can't stir the pot if you get banned from the forum Farquezy. I am not recommending this at all I just want to make you aware that it is an option if you haven't already realized.

I want you guys to say what you believe. In the end you always think your opinion is right. I could care less what you think farquezy, I believe what I want to believe. Just because we might not agree, doesn't mean you should start calling people names or attack anyone. This is your last chance, if you can't comely state your opinion and don't stop doing what you have kept up then the administrators will have to handle you. You can say you believe stem cell research is good, but calling all of us 2 year olds, or implying we don't have working brains is against the rules and will not be tolerated. Thank you.

Even if I was blind, I would not accept a piece of matter which used to be a unborn baby. Even if I was elderly I would much rather let that baby have a chance, who has their whole life to live that could possibly be the next Einstein, then let me live a couple more years longer being able to see knowing I had a part in the murder of a baby. Murder is a sin, which is why I don't think it is right.

Oh, wow, now I know what Stem Cell Research is. It's a little too hardcore for my liking.

I agree with Ace. I'd let that baby live. He/she could grow up and have a great life. It might be a different story if you're blind from birth, then I might consider stem cell research as an option. But if I went blind at say that age of 40-50 i'd wouldn't do the stem call thang.

actually its been recently discovered cells can be mutated back into stem cells. it doesnt necessarily have to come from fetuses.

why would i be gone?

but im not trying to offend people, and i just cant understand how you can get offended from what i say over the freakin internet lol. I mean when i said are you guys 2 year olds i didnt mean to offend you what i was saying is that 2 years olds get mad over stupid stuff and that mature people shouldnt get mad, thats what i was trying to say.

Sorry if i made you guys mad.

But im just trying to put you in place of someone who can be helped by stem cell, and see how you would feel. I mean just imagine it, your blind and there is a way to help you see, But some person wont allow you to, thats just not fair and any human should help another if there is a way.
