I think emulation killed the value of vintage game consoles.

Top-loading NES, not a fami-clone, the real deal. These things play almost any game pak perfectly, so they likely reach over $99. I won't sell it though, it belongs to my parents.

Yea, that may be true, but I'm pretty certain that if I wanted to sell a dinosaur on ebay... I'd get more than snack money.

I agree about emulation ruining the price of vintage gaming consoles though. People would be hunting them down if they had a bigger interest in them. Many people know they can run their favorite classics on the PC or other system, like the PSP, instead of throwing an insane amount of cash down just to get an overpriced piece of machinery that uses cartridges or something that you'd have to blow inside to get working in the first place. I guess the normal systems are just more of a hassle to own now... but that doesn't stop me from keeping mine ;)

There's only one old console that I'd buy, and that's a Sega Saturn. I'd pay a good amount of money for a perfectly-working Sega Saturn with a few controllers and a handful of the greats. If I had a Sega Saturn, I'd officially have every single Sega system ;)

Sega Saturn Shiro!

You know, I have one of those lying around. Probably couldn't sell it, though.

Well, I'll say this out in the open in order to hopefully get a good response back. Anyways, I don't like making the first offer, but if anyone is able to prove to me, without a doubt, that they have a Sega Saturn that is in peak condition and would like to sell it, let me know.

Of course, if someone has a junk one that they want to get rid of, I'll take it as well. That's how I got my PS2 (fixing 2 broken ones).

I do not blame you for being cautious. I used to have a Japanese Saturn as well but I had to part with it in a move a decision I later regretted. Let me know what would satisfy your need to be certain of "peak condition"

Out of curiosity would you mind posting a list of your favorite titles?

I've heard that collectors of vintage stuff actually love to pay a pretty dime for stuff like this. Even movie productions, they like to keep a warehouse of props so when they are doing an older movie, hey, they need gear and props from certain old days. I encourage to sell it than trash it. You never know. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

Unless you aren't remotely interested in giving me a pretty penny for the system, perhaps I misunderstood, all I have to do is prove the mint condition of this Saturn, Assuming you are interested.

I actually would hate to part with Panzer Dragoon Zwei it is one of my favorites but I have not played it in 2 or 3 years. I should move on.

BTW I have the analog Nights controller too.

Dude, you have no class.

As for me, I'd like a SNES.
It might be 8 years before my time, but that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy it.

SNES is so common. A Saturn by comparison is much more rare!
